For durability and still get optimum freshness of the carrots you buy, learn how to choose and store carrots as follows:

Choosing & Buying Carrots

1. Search and find carrot best by comparing it in some stores or supermarkets.

2. Choose carrots that are fresh, ripe, bright orange, and hard. Avoid carrots that has changed to brown and rubbery (wilt).

3. Buy a carrot taste, at least for supplies for about 2 weeks.

Storage Preparation Carrots

1. Upon arriving home, immediately wash all the carrots that have been purchased with cold water.

2. Place all the carrots into a plastic container that has a lid. If you do not have a large enough container, you can divide the carrots into two smaller containers.

3. Fill the plastic container with cold water, until the water is shut all the carrots in a container.

Carrots store

1. Keep container that was filled with carrots in the fridge. If you have a vegetable crisper, keep the container in it if possible.

2. To maintain the freshness of the carrots, replace the water in the container every 4 days. Carrots will stay fresh and crisp for 2 weeks.
