Learn 5 Myths & Facts about Acne: Skin Beauty Tips
Below are five myths and facts about acne that you need to know, namely:

Myth 1: Washing your face more often will help clear up acne.

Acne is not caused by dirt. Contrary to what you may have seen in commercials, pores are not blocked from the top down by "dirt".

In contrast, the pore walls stick together deep within the skin that causes acne formation.

Rather than preventing acne, frequent washing your face will actually make the irritated pores and cause the pores to become clogged. Cloth to wipe the face can worsen the irritation.

The best step is a wash when washing your face with a gentle and quite two times a day.

Myth 2: Stress can cause acne.

Stress may have an effect on hormones and theoretically can cause acne. However, the causes of acne could be stronger than the condition of stress every day.

Some psychiatric medications may cause acne as a side effect, but stress itself is not a big problem.

Better use of time to determine the right program for treating acne than feel guilty because of stress.

Myth 3: Masturbation or s*x can cause acne.

This is an old idea that originated in the early 17th century to prevent young children premarital s*x and of course this is not based on scientific evidence.

More plausible explanation is that the levels of androgen (male s*x hormone) levels can lead to increased s*xual drive.

While high levels of androgens are associated with severe cases of acne.

Thus, high levels of androgens are associated with acne, not because of increased desire for s*xual activity.

Myth 4: The sun will help eliminate acne.

The sun may help in the short term to speed up existing acne while cleansing the skin redden, thus disguising red color due to acne.

However, because the sun actually burns the skin damage. It's important to prevent damage to the skin of the face while trying to eliminate acne.

Exposure to the sun can cause skin irritation which makes acne worse.

Myth 5: There is a link between a diet with acne.

The point needs further research about this. We know that people in earlier times no one is experiencing acne problems.

This contrasts with many acne problems in modern society.

It makes us have to ponder the question of whether societies of antiquity diet contributes to skin free of acne?

Finding ways to prevent acne diet is a future challenge. But modern life is certainly very different from our ancestors.

Our ancestors were hunters so we can not possibly replicate their diet.
