How to Defrost Frozen Meat & Vegetables with the Pressure Cooker
Frozen vegetables can be easily availed in a pressure cooker.

However, some types of frozen meat to lose flavor and color if not aerated (in order to melt partially) before they were placed in a pressure cooker.

Thaw frozen meat (without aerating) also adds to the pressure cooker cooking time may result in the loss of vitamins and minerals in food.

Follow these steps to get better results when using a pressure cooker for defrosting food.

With the help of microwave thawing

1. Put all ingredients in a pressure cooker dishes. Frozen vegetables can be directly placed in a pressure cooker. There is no additional cooking time is needed.

For the meat, make sure to buy pieces no larger than 2.5 cm. You can ask the butcher to cut the meat.

2. Place the meat in the microwave for a few minutes in order to melt partially. This will reduce the cooking time in the pressure cooker.

3. Place the meat in a pressure cooker and cook as usual.

Disbursement only use a pressure cooker

1. Put the meat in a pressure cooker. Make sure the meat is cut-small ketch.

2. Before you put frozen meat, add 1 cup of warm water or broth in the pressure cooker.

3. Give extra five minutes for every 2.5 cm (1 inch) piece of meat.

4. Add one minute cooking time for each 1/2 kg whole frozen chicken.

5. Make sure the pressure cooker temperature at least 75 degrees celsius before serving.
